NFS Hot Pursuit iPhone App Quick Review

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit is currently available in the app store for £2.99

Another great title by EA, and they have more to come yet this year with other titles like "Battlefield"

If your a fan of racing games and EA you will love this one, graphics and video cut scenes are awesome, gameplay is great, controls are easy to master though you will need to adjust them to suit yourself.
Default controls are;
Tilt device left or right to steer
Auto accelerate
Tap bottom left corner to brake
Swipe up bottom right corner to use nitro
Tap appropriate box under car to select take down methods eg; spikes / emp / roadblocks

There is a single player game mode and a local multiplayer mode via wifi, lets hope we see an update with full online multiplayer, thats all this game is lacking at the minute

The basic concept is to take down / capture enemy vehicles by chasing them in your police car, you can crash into them, try to knock them off the road or into obstacles, or set road blocks, drop spikes, or use emp charges, and at the same time master your own driving skills to keep up with them and avoid obstacles of your own like other vehicles, bad corners etc

The better you do on each mission, the more you gain in way of rewards, earn money, rank up, unlock new cars!

As you progress through the game the missions get more difficult and much faster, so unlock those cars, quick!

Overall, I'd give this game a solid 9/10 rating, a must have for racing game fanatics like me
