Stop-Motion Transformation of Magic Square MS-B46 Light of Victory. Very clever design. You grill purists should be happy about the grill. It will save you some grief if you remove the matrix and put it somewhere safe while you transform it - it doesn’t stay mounted very well and you do not want to lose it. The most hazardous part is moving the sliders where the wheel wells mount to the center frame - be careful with that. Also it helps to use a tool to extract the center pylon from between the windshields when going from truck mode.

Production Note: This is my first video with my new 24” turntable. It’s a black glass lazy susan from Home Depot. It appears the edge of it catches a bit too much ambient light and there’s no good way to edit it out, so there it is. I’ll have to paint the edge or something to get it to not show up like that.

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
