Although a wet rabbit is more prone to suffer hypothermia, skin irritation, or other health problems, it is not as hazardous as people believe. I strongly advise against bathing your rabbit, but there is no need to panic if it gets wet. As long as you take the time to thoroughly dry off the rabbit, they should be OK in the long run.

If your rabbit is only slightly damp and the fur has not been soaked through, you may not need to dry it at all. Keep an eye on them to ensure that your rabbit is comfortable and that no indications of illness appear.
