Top 10 Cruise Ship Jobs Without A College Degree Required
1. Assistant Waiter / Waitress
– Food server at the restaurant. Customer service and basic F&B training are needed.
2. Galley Utility
– Kitchen cleaner, dishwashing, food prep support. Important in kitchen operations.
3. Housekeeping Attendant
– Cleaning guest cabins and crew areas. This is where most of the hospitality department starts.
4. Laundryman
– Operates washing, pressing, folding ng linens, uniforms, at guest clothes.
5. Cleaner / Janitor (Public Area Attendant)
– Assigned in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms. Must be consistent and detail-oriented.
6. Butcher
Responsible for cutting and preparing the meats. Most of the time someone has experience in meat shops or hotels.
