Markelle Fultz Player Breakdown! Top Prospect in the NBA Draft!

In today's breakdown we feature a throwback of Markelle Fultz in his junior and senior years of high school. It's amazing that just 12 months later he's preparing for the NBA draft, and there's a good chance he'll be the #1 overall pick.

Fultz averaged an astounding 23 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block in his freshmen season at Washington. He also shot 48% from the field, 41% from three, and 65% from the free throw line.

As a 6'4" point guard with a 6'10 wingspan, Fultz has the full arsenal of skills to make an impact in the league. He's very comfortable in pick and roll and he's able to score from all three levels. But although he's a natural born scorer, he's very unselfish and makes a great effort to get his teammates involved. On the defensive end of the floor he's a great shot blocker and he also has the lateral quickness to put on-ball pressure and cut off penetration.

Overall, Markelle Fultz has a lot of promise and he's shown that he's only getting better with time. From playing JV as a 10th grader to being a one and done lottery pick, it's clear that he's got a great work ethic and is going to continue to improve.
