While shooting a story about the heroic acts of our policemen under the Revitalized- Pulis sa Barangay Program of the PRO Xi of the Philippine National Police, we came across a story about the culture of the Ata Manobo or Langilan Manobo Tribe in Brgy. Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao del Norte. This is about the right of a husband of having more than one wife.
For educational purposes, we asked permission from the family if it would be alright for them to be covered on my docu vlog. Luckily, the three wives of one husband were around and accepted us to come into their small house and narrated to us their experience of being together without even competing against each other. Alongside, they also shared with us the help extended to them by the National Housing Authority of the National Government.
Let us all know the story of Ena, Sorenda and Gelyn and their one husband.
