Follow two cyclists as they cycle roughly 26 miles northward from McCormick Gap Overlook (MP 102.5) and back. You'll get a good glimpse of what it's like for well conditioned and experienced, but recreational cyclists, to tackle to 4000+ ft. of elevation gain over the 54 miles. You'll also see the exciting descents following the challenging climbs. The natural beauty of the Skyline Drive is also featured along the way and at the many spectacular Overlooks. The pavement is very smooth for cycling and traffic was very sparse on this Wednesday in early November.
