Boston Walking Tour | From Newbury St to Downtown | United States 🇺🇸

Join me on a walking tour through the heart of Boston, starting from Newbury Street and making our way to Downtown. This route takes us through some of the city’s most iconic and historic areas, blending shopping, history, and culture into one walkable experience.

We begin on Newbury Street, one of Boston’s most famous streets. Known for its historic brownstone buildings, upscale shops, local boutiques, and vibrant cafés, it’s a favorite destination for both locals and visitors. The street stretches nearly a mile and showcases Boston’s mix of styles.

From there, we head into the Boston Public Garden, America’s first public botanical garden. It’s beautifully landscaped with flowers, trees, and the famous lagoon, where you can spot the iconic Swan Boats in the warmer months. The Garden connects directly to the Boston Common, the oldest public park in the United States, dating back to 1634. The Common has served as a grazing ground, a meeting place for revolutionary events, and today, a lively green space where locals relax, play, and gather for events.

Walking further, we enter Downtown Boston, an area full of energy, history, and modern skyscrapers. This is where old and new Boston meet, you’ll find historic landmarks like the Granary Burying Ground and Park Street Church alongside busy shopping areas like Downtown Crossing.

This walk is a great way to experience Boston’s character in just a couple of miles. Whether you’re planning a trip or just curious about the city, this tour will give you a sense of what makes Boston such a unique and walkable place.
