They finally did it, they finally prioritised UK trained Doctors and rightly so. The NHS was notorious in cherry picking overseas Doctors and ignoring our home grown talent, so it's great to see a step in the right direction to put the honour back into med students from the UK
This sadly affects the overseas bound UK students that have always wanted to practice medicine back home, but overall, this is the right move to keep our own students motivated
Great time for me to segway into why Dentistry is a better option and I would be more than happy to have that conversation with anyone who wants it, but if you're thinking of studying overseas in Med or Dentistry, this is your sign to pursue Dentistry
