Y&O/Yoairpro Air Steamer / Whole House Humidifier Review

In this video, I review the Y&O YM-20 "air steamer" or whole house humidifier. This is a large size (2.5 gallon) humidifier that can monitor and adjust the humidity level in your home based on either a preset auto level or can be run on a timer.

The mechanics of the humidifier itself is a fairly simple concept, you load it with water, turn it on and it converts it into steam that delivers moisture into the air. It uses a heating element to boil the water and convert to steam.

The YM-20 can be plugged into a standard 110v outlet and draws about 1250 watts.

The YM-20 features a neat dual tank system which is very convenient when filling them so you don't have to lift and carry 2.5 gallons at once. The unit draws from either tank but it doesn't necessarily draw equally so you don't need to be concerned if one side is emptying faster than the other. It will eventually use all the water in either tank.

I mention this in the video but there is a discrepancy between the manual and the unit itself. In the manual it references the auto humidity levels as 50, 60 and 70. The unit has been updated and instead uses icons to represent this. It's not too confusing but you might notice that difference like I did.
