The Neue Arkana stands for a new generation of SUVs that can be described as “hybrid” in two respects - in terms of style and drive. The shapes of a coupé are combined in the New Arkana with a high seating position, a generous amount of space and a large trunk, but they also ensure a new form of sportiness. The new approach introduces a new, emotional and dynamic component into the SUV segment. The RS Line equipment line takes this sporty design even more into account. Renault does not compromise on safety either. This is proven, among other things, by the 5-star rating in the EURO NCAP crash test.

Renault also relies on innovative hybrid drives for the engine in the New Arkana. The E-TECH 145 as a full hybrid and the 1.3 TCe with a 12V micro-hybrid and 140 PS are available in advance. The 1.3 TCe 12V-Micro-Hybrid with 160 PS will follow in October 2021.

The Neue Arkana meets the expectations of customers in a wide variety of international markets. This demonstrates the global orientation of the Renault Group and its ability to quickly adapt its range to the demands and needs of new markets. Technically, Renault aligns the New Arkana to the different market needs. For Europe, it is based on Allianz's modular CMF-B platform, as is already the case today for the latest generations of the Clio and Captur.

The new Renault Arkana will be produced at the Busan plant in South Korea, where it will be built by Renault Samsung Motors in parallel with the XM3. It can be ordered in Europe since March 2021. In Switzerland, the market launch will take place in June 2021, optionally with the TCe 140 EDC Micro-Hybrid (12V) or the E-TECH 145 as a full hybrid.
