I USED CANTU ON MY NATURAL HAIR! Cantu Avocado Line on Type 4 Hair | Honest Review & Demo 🤯🙈🤔

Cantu Avocado Line on Type 4 Natural Hair (First Impression + Review and Wash Day Demo) Product info and links included below!

I received most of the Cantu Avocado products in my January 2020 ‪@CURLBOXtv‬ and I finally got a chance to try these affordable natural hair products. My go to style is a twist out but you can use these products for whatever natural hairstyles you prefer. I include a description of the products I used below but let me know in the comments if you have any questions about my curly hair routine!

1. Cantu Avocado Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner

Both are supposed to moisturize and soften with avocado oil and shea butter being the key ingredients. Both have no mineral oil, sulfates, parabens, silicones, phthalates, paraffin, and no propylene glycol. I thoroughly enjoyed using these two and would recommend you trying them if you are looking for an affordable, slippery, and moisturizing shampoo and conditioner

2. Cantu Avocado Leave In Repair Cream

This leave in is supposed to mend and condition dry brittle hair and the key ingredients are olive oil, aloe, and shea butter. This leave in is free from mineral oil, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, and paraffins. Although my hair felt conditioned and a little strengthened after applying, this leave in was not easy to work with so I suggest detangling prior to applying if you decide to try this. Note that this was the only product not included in the Curl Box

3. Cantu Avocado Curl activator cream

This cream is supposed to define and soften and the highlighted ingredients are avocado oil and shea butter. This is also free from the same bad ingredients as the shampoo and conditioner and feels great on top of the leave in. I think this product gave my hair a nice hold but combining this with the avocado leave in wasn't my favorite. Once I try another combo I like I'll update you all

4. Cantu Avocado Hydrating Gel

This gel was made to give your hair a flexible hold and has the same Avocado oil and shea butter like the other products. I like the texture of this gel and it did a good job of smoothing my edges but it did cause a little flaking when mixed with the other two products. I will definitely try this gel in another combo and let you know what works best but I know a lot of people who do like this gel, you just have to find the right combination

5. Cantu Avocado Curling Cream

I haven't tried this product yet but I will be trying it in the future. It has a new formula with mango butter, coconut oil, and avocado oil that is supposed to moisturize, define, and tame frizz. This product is silicone free and is free from the same harsh ingredients mentioned above.
