The Lowveld National Botanical Garden in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga is home to various plant species. This 159 hectares of a well looked after garden is also home to the confluence of the Nels River and the Crocodile River where the two rivers create a spectacular waterfall.
The banks of these rivers are dominated by rich soils which allows the uninterrupted growth of a wide collection of trees that houses both birdlife, insects, reptiles and many smaller animals.
