Motörhead and Wacken Open Air shared a bond unlike most bands and festivals. From their first appearance in 1997, #Lemmy, Phil, and Mikkey returned to Wacken again and again, playing there many times over the years and becoming part of the festival’s very heartbeat.
This video features fan and artists interviews recorded directly at W:O:A, capturing the emotional connection between the festival and Motörhead. We want to honor Lemmy, whose voice, bass lines, and attitude changed loud music forever. His legacy lives on in every performance on the Holy Ground an every fan around the world.
