This video is about three dots of the SAME colour and how the perception of the colour of each of the dotss changes when placed on the three primary colours.
The three squares of the three primary colours, red, yellow and blue, do not change throughout the whole video. They remain the same hues, tones, tints and shades of red, yellow and blue. The background which is dark grey also remains the same throughout the whole video. The dots on the squares transition together into another colour every few seconds. Throughout the whole video, the three dots transition together into the exact same colour.
Enlarge the video to full screen and use a projector if you have one. Switch off the lights. OBSERVE what happens to the three dots. Compare them.
This video is made by @oncolour and ART/IST.
This video is inspired from the book, 'Josef Albers: To Open Eyes' and is either one of Josef Albers' exercises on colour theory or an experiment by one of his students.
