Take a tour of The Heckscher State Park Campgrounds. Heckscher State Park is located on the South Shore of long Island NY. The campgrounds has a total of 67 tent/RV sites (back in and pull-through). For the RV camper there are no hook - ups at the sites. There are community water faucets throughout the campgrounds to fill your fresh water tanks and a dump station. Heckscher State Park offers life guard swimming, great bike trails, picnic areas, boat launch, fishing, playgrounds and cabin rentals.
