Hi everyone! Today we took a day trip to Nikko! Nikko is a world heritage site, famous for a number of shrines dedicated to the famous shogun leader, Tokugawa Ieyasu and his grandson. There's also a beautiful lake nearby with a waterfall, mountain views and more temples as well as the old Imperial Villa where the imperial family would spend the hot Japanese summers until the mid 1900s.
