[36] Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you cannot follow me now, but you will follow afterward.” [37] Peter said to him, “Lord, why can I not follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” [38] Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? Very truly, I tell you, before the cock crows, you will have denied me three times.”

In which moments do we think that we are not like Peter. Many might say, “Not me. I wouldn’t deny God.” But, it doesn’t sound right. My sister put on Facebook something like “You say you’d die for ex; but what if you live…” What if think about living for Jesus. What would happen if we changed the song? Like the Christians from year zero, we have to live for peace and justice. But, we think that to be Christian, to be followers like Peter, we have to sacrifice our lives. It’s just not like that. What sacrifice would it be to love and support each other? Let’s do our best to live and follow.
