我們前人 大德真君 遺愛在我心
Our Predecessor, Da De Zhen Jun; Your love is in my heart
為挽救黎民 嚐盡了艱辛
Enduring severe hardships to save humanity
從沒有怨天尤人 一生道場只有道親
Never blaming anyone; A life of Dao only with Dao kin
大德萬古留馨 後學永遠愛您
Your great virtue never ends. We will always love you

卅六年春 離鄉背井 奉命承天運
Spring of thirty-six (1947), leaving his hometown, following Heaven’s will
為普渡眾生 拋棄了至親
Leaving family to save humanity
烽火起斷了音訊 考驗頻臨病魔纏身
The war cutting off contact with home. Enduring trials and tribulations
前人不敢呻吟 最怕後學擔心
Predecessor did not dare to make a sound, fearing his followers will worry

積勞成病牙根咬緊 淚往肚裏吞
Sick from overwork, clenching his teeth, and just swallowing his tears
腳步不曾停 苦口又婆心 怕後學不知邁進
Never once stopping, always encouraging; Afraid followers don’t progress
沒有斥訓 委婉指引
Never scolding; Tactfully guiding
循循善誘我們 無以報答前人
Teaching with skill and patience. How to repay our debt of gratitude?

團結一心 濟世救人 追隨前人您
Unite with one heart, save humanity. Follow our Predecessor
前人的精神 後學的方針 親愛的大德真君

繼志報恩 使命常存
Repay our debt; fulfill our mission
渡盡九六乾坤 後學謹遵慈訓

根鈍冤愆重，智昏罪業深 Dim witted, karmic debt heavy, No wisdom, sins run deep
考魔原自惹，豈敢怨天人 Trials are self-created, neither Heaven nor people to blame
徒負沖天志，空懷救世心 Vowing to return to Heaven, alas, my promise cannot keep
所行多欠當，實有愧師恩 Lacking adequate achievement, by Teachers grace, I have much shame

徒感筋疲腿足酸 All in vain, aching legs and feet
