Параклис Възнесение Господне Борово - Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord - Borovo Beautiful Rhodope

В близост до село Борово (на 15 минути пеша) се намира параклисът „Възнесение Господне“. Това, което прави впечатление, е че параклиса е построен на края на хълм и гледката от него е просто величествена. Цялата природна красота и релеф могат да се наблюдават от това свято място. Параклисът е построен през 2006 година с доброволния труд и парите на местните жители. В селото има и друг храмове, но конкретно този параклис изпъква. Стенописите са красиви и запазени, постройката е бяла, а покривът и е червен. Вътре може да запалите свещ, а парите които оставите ще се използват за поддръжка на параклиса. Районът около параклиса е чудесен да разходка, пикник и други подобни забавления. Ако търсите спираща дъха гледка и място за усамотение, то задължително трябва да посетите мястото.
Село Борово се намира в средната част на Родопите, на 50км от град Пловдив, на 38км южно от Бачковския манастир и на 6км от гр. Лъки. Разположено е в Преспанския дял на изток от седловината Рожен в Западнородопския масив.

Още при влизането си в Борово ще забележите колко голямо значение отдават местните на вярата. На най-високата точка над селото, някак самотно, но и някак величествено, се извисява параклисът - "Възнесение Господне". Построен едва през 2006г, на място тачено от древността, белият храм с червен покрив и камбанария, е изцяло дело на местните жители – направен с доброволен труд и лични средства.
