IRAN — BREAKING GLOBAL UPDATE 🌍
Anti-government protests that shook Iran for weeks appear to have largely subsided after a deadly crackdown and heightened security presence, Iranian authorities say, with approximately 3,000 people arrested in recent days as unrest cooled.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump publicly acknowledged what his administration described as a decision by Tehran to cancel planned executions of hundreds of detained protesters, thanking Iranian leaders for the move — even though Tehran has not officially confirmed such plans.

The protests, triggered by economic hardship and quickly expanding into widespread anti-regime demonstrations, became the deadliest domestic crisis in Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, with human rights groups reporting thousands of deaths amid suppressive measures by security forces.
