Vietnamese Peanut Sauce, or tương đậu phộng, is a Vietnamese staple. This peanut sauce recipe is made with basic Asian pantry essentials for a rich and umami flavor explosion that's perfect with Vietnamese spring rolls (goi cuon), chicken satay, grilled meats, or used as a salad dressing.

Ingredients
▢ 5 cloves garlic minced
▢ ¼ cup peanut butter
▢ ¼ cup hoisin sauce
▢ ½ cup water
▢ ¾ cup Nuoc Cham (see below)

Nuoc Cham
▢ ½ cup warm water
▢¼ cup fish sauce
▢¼ cup + 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
▢¼ cup lime juice freshly squeezed
▢1 teaspoon garlic chili paste to taste
▢2 garlic cloves minced

Cornstarch Slurry
▢ 1 teaspoon cornstarch
▢ 1 tablespoon water

Garnish
▢ 1 tablespoon peanuts crushed (optional)
