Kylian Mbappe missed training at the National Center of Football in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines on Monday due to an ankle problem which forced the Real Madrid forward off during their win against Villarreal on Saturday.
France coach Didier Deschamps addressed the concerns as he looked ahead to his squad's upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Iceland.
"He's here, he had a minor issue that isn't serious, otherwise he wouldn't be here today, but we'll take the time with the medical staff to assess the situation and then see how it develops."
The 26-year-old star has started the season in scintillating form, scoring 14 goals in 10 games for Real Madrid.
He also scored in both of Les Bleus' qualifiers in September, helping his country to move top of Group D with two wins from two.
