The Healing Balm Foundation conducted a monitoring visit in Musokotwane to assess the community’s understanding and perception following a disability inclusion teaching by one of the Community Champions.
Community Champions are trained members, traditional leaders and youths under The Healing Balm Foundation who work within their local areas to raise awareness, educate communities, and promote values of Disability Inclusion , Climate Change, Gender Justice transparency, and accountability . Through continuous training and mentorship from the Foundation, these champions are equipped with knowledge and skills to facilitate community discussions and drive positive social change.
The visit revealed improved understanding and appreciation of disability inclusion among community members. The Healing Balm Foundation commends the efforts of the Community Champion and the positive engagement of the Musokotwane community towards creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
