The Genting Highlands is only 45 minutes away from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and is one of the most popular vacation spots in the country. The Genting Highlands is known for being one of Malaysia’s hill stations, which puts it in the category of other spots like the Cameron Highlands. One of the reasons why people flock here is to take in the crisp mountain air, but another big reason to visit is to enjoy the attractions such as several casinos and both indoor and outdoor theme parks.

The most convenient way to reach Chin Swee Caves Temple is via the Awana SkyWay cable car. There are two types of gondolas to choose from, both of which offer a bird’s eye view of a 130-million-year-old rainforest as well as numerous attractions in Genting Highlands. The standard gondola can accommodate up to 10 passengers, while the glass-floor gondola accommodates only six passengers. All of them have louvres to provide ventilation, as well as power outlets in case you need to charge your mobile phones.

Chin Swee Cave temple’s main square also houses several prayer halls for devotees to pray and meditate during their visit, while those looking to learn more about the Buddhism can explore the depiction of 10 Chambers of Hell, which are set along the fringe of the square. Genting SkyWay, throughout the 3.4 km-long journey, the gondola-style cable car offers breathtaking views of numerous landmarks within the highlands, including a 120-million-year-old rainforest, SkyAvenue Shopping Mall, Chin Swee Caves Temple and upcoming Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park. Depending on weather conditions, you’ll reach the Highlands Station within 15 to 20 minutes.

Spreading over 400,000 square feet, this indoor theme park in Genting Highlands offers the visitors with unlimited fun experience. This Tron-like theme park has more than 20 rides. Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park welcomes everyone of all ages to come and play from thrilling spin rides for the adrenaline junkies to family-friendly rides for those with young children.
