Hakuba Cortina with no one there. The Covid Edition

With not much snowfall on the report not even the locals bothered with going to Cortina this week. I'm always keen to get on the mountain so even just a dusting in the village will get me thinking of which resort is going to be best in the valley. Cortina was my pick and it payed off big time. The only problem was I had no one to film so you get me this week and my running commentary. I hope it assists you for your next trip to Hakuba. Knowing which resort to go to each day will make a big difference to your holiday experience. 15 years of living here has given me the knowledge and I am happy to pass it on. As it was so good on the first day and temperatures stayed cold, I decided to go back again the next day and finish off the leftovers before it warmed up in the afternoon. 2 brilliant days in Hakuba.

This weeks drink of choice is Jameson's Irish Whiskey and dry.

Majority of filming was on the DJI Pocket 2. Any content that is a little bouncy is operator issues I reckon. I'm still skilling up on it. Going through tree areas makes it a little difficult. Finding the gaps prioritises over filming the terrain or subject. The camera seems to handle the snow and faceshots OK

Yes I know I am floating a noddy cap and a punters gap for a lot of the filming. I will try and straighten myself up before selfie mode next time :)
