In this video we compare the Sonos Soundbars the Sonos Beam vs Sonos Playbar vs Sonos Arc. The Sonos Arc is currently the flagship soundbar and has the most speakers of any of the 3 sonos soundbars and is the only one that is Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound compatible. The Sonos Arc has speakers built into the top of the device that are designed to bounce sound around a room and create a 3D sound listening experience.

The Sonos Playbar and Sonos Beam do work in 5.1 surround sound configurations but do don't have Dolby Atmos 3D sound.

The Sonos Arc also has Alexa and Google voice assistants built in with microphones on the device so you can control your Sonos devices with your voice, or control other items you have connected to Alexa using Alexa voice commands on your Sonos Arc.

The Sonos Beam also has Alexa and Google voice assistants built in but the Sonos Playbar does not have Alexa or Google voice assistants built in. However the Sonos Playbar does still work with Alexa.
