Do you love fashion? I do , but I have been increasingly thinking about the impact of the fashion industry on the planet, particularly in terms of use of resources from fossil fuels, water pollution and landfill issues. Therefore, I have been researching the ways that we can reduce the impact of this by more sustainable practices such as choosing more sustainable fabrics for our clothing and avoiding fast fashion items of poor quality in non- biodegradable fabrics. Also by getting the most of the clothing that we do buy and recycling it when we no longer need it, we can reduce the amount that ends up in landfill. With this information in mind, I will be striving to be more mindful about clothing choices in the future. I do fully appreciate how difficult this can be, especially when most of us need to work within a budget and fast fashion is often cheaper! So please don't think that I am being judgemental!
