Another Euro Trackday in the bag. This time we went to Portugal to visit the infamous Portimao Autodromo do Algarve. Labelled the roller coaster of racetracks and not without good reason. Definitely a good place to try slicks for the first time.
This was a wild one. High speeds. Endless undulations and gradients. Blind entry and exits on the majority of the corners. Blind crests which had you on the back wheel and almost always took you by surprise. It was incredibly challenging but hugely rewarding. Thankfully plenty of run off too. Had a few minor whoopsies. As of posting and writing this it has become my favourite race track. Well worth the trip.
