Easy Way To Use A Rotary Quadrature Encoder with ESP32 or Arduino

You can easily use an inexpensive rotary quadrature encoder with your ESP32 and Arduino projects. I wrote two classes (which you can simply copy/paste in your sketch) that make it easy to incorporate the encoder in your own project. GitHub link to my free file listed below.
This is a part of my learning process and I’m sharing this with others with a hope that helps you out too. If you are using an Arduino, you will need to adjust the pin numbers in the encoder initializer method to match the numbers of your Arduino model. I'll show you the parts I am using in the video.

ESP32 WROOM Development Module
Teyleten Robot KY-040 rotary encoder brick sensor
AMS 1117–3.3 DC voltage regulator
