Driving my rebuild (similar to mine DKM Kart 1997) Formula A 100 Kart the first time for a test in Büren. The engine is a very powerful Italsistem SV 21, that has been driven by Swiss Hutless during the championships several years ago. I fitted an Ibea L2 3-Jet Carburettor, where i had to grind the lower area, to get space for the timing belt of the front rotary. Here i was driving still very rich, with low high end rpm, to save the engine... The Chassis is a ´97 Mari MK4, similar to mine i were driving during ´97 and ´99 in national and international races in ICA 100 and formula A 100.. As you can see, I mounted the original sideboxes from the DKM 1997 (German Kart championship), where I raced with a side rotary italsistem MV 31?, with the cut-out piece for the inlet silencer and the valvoline sticker on the right.. (all driver had to have Briggs and stratton on the front spoiler (didnt get one yet for the rebuilt) and the valvoline on the right sidebox) Sorry for the starting failure at the beginning :) Have fun while watching...
