Mourne Mountains 7 Sevens Monster Hike Sept 2024 : 2nd Attempt but did we make it?

What a hike this was. 21 miles, 6k calories burnt, 6 pounds lost weight, over 60,000 steps, 8,707 feet of ascent, 17 hours of hiking!! All seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains, N. Ireland over 700m in one epic hike.
Did we do it? Yes , we did - thanks to James pulling me, pushing me and carrying my bag, we did it, finishing in darkness with torches at 11.30pm.
Conditions were warm and sunny, too hot really, but we pushed ourselves through the pain barrier and did it - sore feet, aching all over, but rejoicing it another epic day in the Mountains.
Probably, the best day of hiking ever for me, but also the toughest. Again, thanks to James, for doing it with me.
We started and ended close to Donard Park, Newcastle, so this was a circular route, the authentic route if you like, and the order of peaks was Slieve Donard (853m), Slieve Commedagh (765m), Slieve Bearnagh (739m), Slieve Meelmore (704m), Slieve Meelbeg (708m), Slieve Binnian (747m), and finally Slieve Lamigan (704m).
