竹内栖鳳の作品をよく知る方々に、竹内栖鳳作品の魅力を語っていただくシリーズです。１では、京都の表具師、岡墨光堂の四代目・岡岩太郎氏にお話を伺いました。岡岩太郎氏は、2018年から2019年にかけて、当館所蔵品の竹内栖鳳《絵になる最初》（重要文化財）の修復を手がけており、作品を解体し、間近で見た栖鳳作品の魅力について、修復家の観点から語っていただきます。

Describing the Appeal of Takeuchi Seiho ♯1
Oka Iwataro Ⅳ (Oka Bokkodo Co., Ltd., President)

In the video series of this exhibition, the fascination of Takeuchi
Seiho’s works will be introduced by various people who are familiar with
his works. In #1, we interviewed Kyoto’s paper mounting craftsman, Oka
Iwataro IV from the Oka Bokkodo Company. From 2018 to 2019, Oka Iwataro
worked on restoring one of our museum’s collections, Posing for the
First Time (Important Cultural Property). Seeing and dismantling the
work up close, the fascination of Seiho’ s work will be introduced from
the perspective of the conservator.
