DIY Reversing Camera & LCD Mirror Screen Install VW T4 Camper Conversion

In this short video I cover how I install and run all the cabling for a reversing camera I am fitting in to a VW T4 I am converting in to a campervan (See below for links to camera). The reversing camera is really easy to install and requires no special tools and just a couple of hours time to install completely. I fit the reversing camera beneath the grab handle which covers the licence plate as this not only conceals the reversing camera from prying eyes but also gives an excellent field of view to the front screen. The reversing camera has cabling ran through the back door, up a channel and along to the front of the van where it is wired in to a replacement rear view mirror which has a built in screen which enables when reverse is selected and the camera switches on.

I have powered both the camera and the mirror screen from the live cable that powers the reverse light so the camera and screen only turn on when reverse is selected.
