Sandakan 4K Walking Tour

Here is a Sandakan 4K Walking Tour, taken in October 2024 when I was there for the Borneo Bird Festival. Sandakan, also known as Little Hong Kong, sits on the east coast of Sabah, North Borneo, and is Malaysia's nature city.

People from all over the world come here to visit the world-famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, the Rainforest Discovery Centre and many other nature-related places.

Sandakan is quite laid back and simple, where the main town area is alive in the day, but after 4pm, it becomes quite and most of the people move to Mile 4, 5 and 6 for nightlife.
