This session showcases a range of modern statistical and data science methods used to examine the waiting list from different analytical and policy perspectives. Two of the featured studies aim to inform or evaluate efforts to identify and prioritise the highest-risk patients waiting for treatment. A third used short-term projections to understand how monthly reporting information can shape understanding of meeting policy objectives.
