A consummate professional, Andrew Garfield was always game to perform his own stunts whenever possible, and trained with Armstrong Action and his own stunt dobles for three months, practicing his Spider-Man maneuvers nearly every Day. He grew so close to his doubles and his trainers that according to stunt coordinator Andy Armstrong, Andrew truly became part of the team. Even cinematographer John Schwartzman jokingly told Andrew Garfield on set, "If the acting thing doesn't work out for you, you've got a great career as a stuntman."
