Amtrak F40PH unit 200/NPCU 90200 Tribute 374th Subscriber Special

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!!!!!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel and welcome to my channel if you are new here.

For today's new video we will be taking a look at some great memories made by Amtrak F40PH unit 200.

F40PH unit 200 was built back in 1975 and entered revenue service on April 9th 1976 as part of Amtrak's first order of 30 F40PH locomotives built by EMD.

In the early 1990'S 22 F40PH locomotives were rebuilt into Non Powered Control Units or NPCU for short and unit 200 became NPCU 90200.

Amtrak F40 NPCU 90200 is still in service today but it will eventually be replaced by the Siemens Mobility built cab cars in the future.

As F40PH railfans let's work hard to make sure Amtrak F40 NPCU 90200 gets donated to a railroad museum.
