As Mingzhu visits the temple with mother Zhang and Zhenniang, she sees Tianpeng in a dire state. He was stabbed and left at the entrance of the temple. Mingzhu asks Zhenniang to help Tianpeng and so he is sent to the hospital. Mingzhu also instructs Ah Yin to send some money over to the hospital for Tianpeng. Xiuxiang finds out about what Mingzhu has been doing for Tianpeng.
明珠随张母和珍娘到庙里上香，在路上看到落魄潦倒的天鹏。天鹏为了抢回明珠给他的钱，被人刺伤，晕倒在庙前。明珠见状，要求珍娘相救，珍娘叫司机送天鹏去医院。明珠偷偷叫阿银送一些钱到医院给天鹏，被秀香发现两人的关系。
