So back in September 2011, Brandon (FFXfreak58) asked me for advice on how to get more subscribers, and I told him maybe doing a collab with someone who had a lot of subscribers might help (in addition to telling him that other things that might help would be vidding the most popular fandoms, vidding a variety of fandoms, listing good tags on your videos, making good videos of course, the more videos you post the more subscribers you're likely to get, self-promoting helps, and some of it might just be random luck... ). I didn't have that many but I offered to vid one of the few fandoms we had in common wih him and he was in the mood to do Glee. He picked out this song and I wasn't sure it was a song that screamed Glee to me but I liked the challenge of trying to vid the beats and tricky lyrics and said sure, I know Glee well enough. I accepted and I even cut up the song into 12 parts - every other part would be his. So I would have the odd numbered parts and he'd have the even numbered parts - I'd start the vid, his part 12 would finish it.

He ended up having trouble sending YouTube messages, eventually we friended each other on Facebook and were messaging that way... but then he kept getting busy with school and a national Graphic Design competition and idk and I mean there's a chance I held up the collab one of the times somewhat but mainly it was me pestering him to make another part a lot of the time. Seriously I was not the one at fault for holding up this collab. I kept being somewhat impatient to finish the collab and he was too busy or something. We were taking turns as to not repeat clips. Eventually earlier tonight he asked me to just finish the vid myself and make his last part. So I made 7 out of 12 parts and he made 5 out of 12. You can see who made which via the watermarks in the bottom right corner.

I added the coloring & watermarks and synced up all the parts and rendered the full collab in 720p HD. :P

Anyway I'm glad it's finally done. I'm pretty proud of my parts and while I was a bit biased toward my favorite ships and favorite characters, overall I think we got a lot of variety in here.
