Diagnosing and Replacing a Faulty Ignition Coil - Nissan Micra K12

Diagnosing, removing and replacing a faulty Ignition coil pack on a 2003 to 2010 Nissan Micra K12 using a basic OBD 2 code scanner.

Error Codes:

Error Code 0300 (Multiple Cylinder Misfire)
Error Code 0301 (Cylinder Number 1 Misfire)
Error Code 0302 (Cylinder Number 2 Misfire)
Error Code 0303 (Cylinder Number 3 Misfire)
Error Code 0304 (Cylinder Number 4 Misfire)

Possible Causes:

• Improper spark plug
• Insufficient compression
• Incorrect fuel pressure
• The injector circuit is open or shorted
• Fuel injectors
• Intake air leak
• The ignition signal circuit is open or shorted
• Lack of fuel
• Drive plate or flywheel
• Heated oxygen sensor 1
• Incorrect PCV hose connection
