YAKUZA KIWAMI 2 | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

This is the week of the Tokyo Game Show and it was revealed that Yakuza 3 will be getting the remake treatment just like Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2. I was very excited to hear this and I had previously recorded a playthrough of Yakuza Kiwami 2 a couple of weeks back. So this seemed the perfect time to archive this game once and for all.
We follow the loveable Kiryu Kazuma again as he has given up the title of Chairman and now gets tangled in a rival war with another gang that is stationed in Osaka. You travel in between Osaka and Tokyo and it is awesome to see how lifelike Osaka is recreated. I lived in Tokyo for 8 years myself and have visited Osaka multiple times and it was very cool to see it in the game as well.
The Yakuza franchise is also famous for its many minigames and there are plenty to find here as well. From arcade games to sport minigames or the fan favorite of managing a hostess club returns as well. One of the best things about this game is how it has no loading times for all the shops and restaurants and so it really feels like a believable and immersive world.
The story is great too with some nice twists and turns and the antagonist is awesome as well. There are a few chapters in the middle where the pacing slows down, but overall Yakuza 2 still remains amongst the best in the entire franchise.
