In this vlog, I spend my evening in ʻEua taking a quiet walk through the village, taking in the sights, sounds, and churches as the sun goes down on a peaceful Saturday. On Sunday, we joined a small devotional gathering with the local Bahá’í community a humble but heartfelt moment of connection.
Back at home, we were blessed with umu food prepared by our neighbors and more generous offerings from a local Peace Corps friend.
The next morning, I nearly missed the early ferry back to Tongatapu… but made it just in time. The sea was calm and to top it off, I spotted a whale on the journey back. A beautiful way to end a special time in ʻEua.
