Here are some of my experiences using the Tokina 16-28 f/2.8 lens on my Sony A7III camera. The lens is Canon mount, so I've mounted it on my camera using the Sigma MC-11 adapter.
In general, I'm very happy with the lens/adapter combo. It focuses reasonably fast and accurately. The corners aren't as bad as I thought they would be. It's a heavy lens, but not heavy on the wallet compared to the native Sony wide angle zooms.
