This special Grand Rounds brings together experts from the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics to discuss how mentorship can continue to embrace evidence-based approaches that suit the wide range of roles and responsibilities faculty hold.
Leading the presentation is Dr. Lekshmi Santhosh, the inaugural Associate Chair for People Development and Mentorship in the Department of Medicine. She brings a wealth of experience developing mentorship initiatives and will discuss learnings from mentorship programs in her department. She is joined by Drs. Liz Rogers and Mel Heyman to provide key perspectives from pediatric faculty development. Together, they compare the two programs to identify best practices toward providing all faculty with the mentorship they need to excel.
