Kejawen and Islam

In this I explore the relationship between Kejawen and Islam and in particular why most Kejawen followers would describe themselves as Muslim. Kejawen incorporates animism, Hinduism, Buddhist and Muslim belief, but also has Christian followers and some would see themselves as simply Kejawen.
I discuss why some Muslims accuse Kejawen as being shirk (not monotheistic) and how Kejawen believers would defend themselves. I also discuss magic and the use of magic and where it fits, or perhaps doesn't within Islam. This leads to a consideration of Jin(n) and exorcism (ruqyah).
