Cycling Around Taiwan - Part 1 - Should you follow Cycling Route NO. 1?

Welcome to the first part of my bike tour around Taiwan! In this video, I’ll be taking you from Taoyuan International Airport to Qingshui, with stops in Taoyuan, Toufen, and Qingshui along the way.

Riding around Taiwan is an incredible journey of about 1,000 kilometers. While some cyclists complete it in 8 to 10 days, I’ve decided to take it slow and truly savor the experience. I’ll be cycling 50-70 kilometers a day, giving myself plenty of time to explore and discover all that Taiwan has to offer.

Sometimes, I’ll follow the well-known Cycling Route No. 1, but more often than not, I’ll venture off to find my own path. This journey is as much about the ride as it is about meeting the Taiwanese people and immersing myself in their culture and daily life.
