Experience the rolling hills and picturesque countryside of The Cornish Main Line which has long been the backbone of Cornwall. Opened in 1867, the line weaves its way through the landscape, linking Cornwall to the rest of the country. Brunel originally built the line to his unique 7ft "broad gauge," but in 1892, the route was converted to a standard gauge. For those areas not reached by the main line, branches sprawl out to serve local communities, such as the St. Ives Bay Line, which also sees tourist traffic - holidaymakers keen to make a coastal getaway.

The train is a Class 150/2 Diesel Hydraulic Multiple Unit from BREL York with a 14-Litre 6-Cylinder Turbo-Diesel engine, and the train has 2 passenger wagons and the weight is 77.9 tons, and its 40.6 meters (44.4 yards) and AWS is on and the train operator is REG (Regional Railways).
