Pokemon Scarlet & Violet - Terapagos Battle Remix

Thank you for watching! Few themes have had more of an immediate and lasting impact on me than the anthem that plays while battling against Terapagos in the final phase. The music is, fittingly, stellar, and I just love it so much - I hope that this remix excites and thrills you in the way Terapagos' theme did for me!

Since the full piece extends quite a bit past my target length for remixes (2:00 - 2:30), I wanted to focus on the parts that were most meaningful for me. The cutscene where Kieran finally gathers the resolve to join you in battle legitimately gave me goosebumps, and when that Tera Raid motif emerged in the music, I just about lost it. Likewise, the ending of this arrangement incorporates a bit of the segment where the player captures Terapagos, which was similarly chill-inducing. In a way, I like to think of this as the friendship version!

And speaking of friends, I want to use this opportunity to (emphatically) recommend the work of ‪@DarlingJack‬. With music that's as powerful as it is pretty, DarlingJack was a big inspiration here, and his uniquely dazzling sound style really influenced the instrumentation for this remix. Aside from making brilliant remixes, DJack also produces memorable originals and fanmade battle themes that strike a perfect balance between emulating the Pokemon style and expressing his own technique. With a kind and gracious personality that shines through his interactions, DarlingJack is an all-around stellar artist. Please be sure to show his channel some love!
