Manuwero takes you through a journey where one Manuwero (literal Shona version of Emmanuel) is cited as being the architect of incessant deep seated problems being experienced in the family, allegedly being caused by the use of black magic/voodoo / charms by Manuwero. These now result in serious misfortunes for the whole family.
The author of the song penned it as a sibling issuing a stern warning to Manuwero to stop practising black magic forthwith. He even proceeds to deeply probe why the sibling would be daring, ruthless, courageous and reckless enough to do that, ignoring the obvious repercussions of such.
Controversial indeed! The accompanying instruments makes the lyrics easy on the ear and satisfying to the soul.
